The yearly report of the Center for the study of democracy marked as a major conclusion the withdrawal of anti-corruption reforms after the country's accession to the EU.

A major accent of the report is political corruption.

What has caused a concern in the EU is the fact that after two years it does not see a result in the fight against corruption, Ruslan Stefanov from the center pointed out, cited by BNR. According to him, the EC clearly shows that there is no effective resistance to political corruption and organized crime.

This directly influences also corruption in the administration - public orders, concessions and others.

Expectations are that in the economic crisis, similar practices will become more frequent, Stefanov emphasized.
